The Honourable
Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Prince Doodei AgbabouWeek on
receiving more equipments, handed them to the
Contractors to the construction of the Ebedebiri Starch Factory (OSTERTRADE)
who assured the Honourable Commissioner of Agriculture and Natural Resources of
Bayelsa State, Honourable Doodei Week, of completing the Project in the next few months.
Speaking on
behalf of the firm, the Legal Consultant, Barr. Ben Sweet, appreciated the
state government for her hospitality and for creating the needed conducive
business environment, adding that they would equally reciprocate the kind
gestures by ensuring timely completion and test-running of the project and
training of personnel when completed.
The Project
which covers an estimated area of 250 hectares of land is expected to produce
over 40 tons of starch per day, geared towards a diversified economy for the
state.
Speaking
earlier, the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, prince Doodei Week, reassured OSTERTRADE of government's genuine commitment to the
timely completion and commissioning of the project. Doodei Week noted that
starch is majorly for export to other countries and therefore charged the
contractors to put in their best to ensure the speedy completion of the Project
within record time.
At the factory
site, the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Honourable Doodei Agbabou Week during the handing over of the site to OSTERTRADE.
